Pitching Clinics

"Success Begins with Practice"

Why is our softball program so successful?

* We encourage our pitchers to learn the proper mechanics of the pitching progression. Learning the proper form is a tool for them to correct themselves.

* We teach that pitching is a process learned over time, like reading or playing an instrument. Pitching successfully requires practice.

* We have parent volunteer coaches who have learned and are willing to share their knowledge.

* MOST IMPORTANTLY, we require parents to be part of the process, catching, coaching and encouraging practice. A pitcher is more successful when a parent becomes a “student of the game”.
