NFCA Coaches Clinic - Minneapolis

January 24-25, 2020 Coaches, it's important to continue learning, growing and honing your skill set, too. Attend an NFCA Coaches Clinic and surround yourself with hundreds of other passionate coaches. In the following pages, you’ll learn more about how to help athletes set goals for the season, how to foster Mastery Approach rather than a focus on winning and losing, how to fill your athlete's Emotional Tanks to keep them motivated to work harder, how to create a positive coach-parent relationship, and how to teach your athletes to Honor The Game and represent the best of sportsmanship.


Heat Index Policy

NUAGFP will cancel LEAGUE games in accordance with Southern Star policies when the heat index reaches 105º (for reference, the MN State High School League uses 115º as their threshold). The association will adjust TOURNAMENT schedules and game duration when heat index reaches these thresholds. The

National Weather Service reading at 3:00PM will be used for determining cancelations.
